Spadina—Fort York is one of the most vibrant and diverse ridings in Canada, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Stretching from the Toronto Islands in the south to Dundas Street in the north, and from Dufferin Street in the west to the Don Valley Parkway in the east, this riding is home to iconic neighbourhoods like the Waterfront, the Entertainment District, the Garment District, and the Distillery District.

What is a Riding Association?

A riding association is the grassroots organization that supports the work of the New Democratic Party in a specific electoral district — provincially under the Ontario NDP, and federally under Canada's NDP.

Riding associations are made up of local members who organize events, engage the community, support campaigns, and help select and nominate candidates who share our values of justice, equity, and worker solidarity.
